Who we are

Steadyfold makes monthly Pinterest and email content for small handmade and Etsy shops. Steadyfold is the trading name of Luis Beauchamp, a sole proprietor, 190 E Rocks Rd, Norwalk, CT 06851, USA.

What we collect when you use our form

When you ask for a free review or get in touch through the form on this site, we collect:

• Your name and email address, so we can reply.
• Your shop's web address and platform (Etsy, Shopify or other), so we can look at your public listings.
• The services you're interested in, plus optional answers about your list size, order volume and what you'd like to fix.
• Your public social and newsletter handles, if you choose to give them (Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, your newsletter platform).
• Whether you ticked the box to get Steadyfold's occasional emails. It's unticked unless you tick it.

Our form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. When you use the form, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic technical details from your browser. This is strictly necessary to keep the form secure, and it isn't used to track you or for advertising. Cloudflare also uses these signals to improve its bot detection, as described in its Turnstile privacy addendum (cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy).

We don't ask for passwords, and we never want one. If you send us one by mistake, we delete it unread and tell you.

How we use it

• To reply to you and give you the free review you asked for. We look at your shop's public listings and write back. That's all the form commits you to.
• To keep a record of our conversation, so whoever replies knows the history.
• If you're a client, we also handle your customers' details (for example, your email subscribers) only on your behalf and on your instructions, as your service provider. Your own privacy notice covers them.
• To send you Steadyfold's occasional emails, only if you ticked the box. You can unsubscribe at any time. If you didn't tick it, we only email you about your enquiry.

How the work gets done. Steadyfold uses AI tools to draft reviews and replies. A person reads them before anything is sent to you. To draft your review, the AI tools process the shop link and the notes you sent us. Our AI provider is Anthropic (Claude).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking. Our fonts are hosted on our own site. The spam check on our form may store strictly necessary data in your browser to tell people from bots; it isn't used for tracking or advertising.

Who we share it with

We use these providers to run the service:

• Cloudflare: website hosting and the spam check
• Supabase: the database where enquiries are stored (US servers)
• Google Workspace: our email
• Telegram: team alerts about a new enquiry. The alert carries only your first name, your shop platform and an enquiry number, never your email address.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI drafting of reviews and replies

They process your data only to provide those services to us.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become clients: deleted 12 months after our last contact.
• Client records: kept for as long as needed for the contract, then up to 7 years for tax and accounting records.
• If you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep only your email address on a do-not-email list, so we don't contact you again.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• see the personal data we hold about you,
• correct it,
• delete it,
• restrict or object to how we use it,
• receive it in a portable form.

To use any of these rights, contact us through the form on our home page or by post at the address above. We'll respond within 30 days.

If you're in the UK or the EU, these rights come from UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. We reply to you and prepare your free review because you asked us to, as a step before any agreement (Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep a record of our conversation and a do-not-email list because we have a legitimate interest in running the business and respecting your choices (Art. 6(1)(f)). We send our occasional emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)). We're based in the United States, so your data is handled in the US. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

We may update this notice. The version on this page is the current one, with its last-updated date shown above.
